Justin + Courtney

Driving into the venue location for Justin and Courtney was like arriving on the backlot of a sprawling film set. There was so much history and what seemed like an endless amount of little buildings all in one location. We could have kept filming there forever if there wasn’t a wedding to be had.

Courtney and Justin had their ceremony on the lawn in front of a couple hundred guests — hydration was necessary on that Minnesota summer day. By evening it had cooled off and guests were wondering around the site getting their photos by the numerous period buildings.

Like all good mid-century date night movies we made sure to have Courtney and Justin dance under the lights of the “local” drive-in diner before going in to dance the night away at their wedding reception.
